We had to take a steep staircase to get down to the beach. Either side of the stairs was lined with plants and flowers, including this one.

Beach Flowers
This flowering bush lined the beach side in High Rock, Grand Bahama Island. I have no idea what it's called, but it sure added beautiful contrast against the beach.
Wandering Beach Flower
The vines containing these lovely pink flowers wander across the beach and provide shade to some of the beach creatures.

Beach Flowers
Taken at one of the stops along the 17 Mile Drive, a scenic road between Pacific Grove and Pebble Beach, CA. Most of it runs along the coastline, passing mansions and famous golf courses. There are turnouts to stop, take photos, picnic or walk along the oceanside.
One of the things we noticed on this trip was the abundance of flowers - everywhere!

Beach Flower
I found this flower on the beach in a sea oat bed. I haven't a clue to what type it is. It grows on a vine?? I used a 100mm f/2.8 @ ISO-400, f/9, 1/250sec., 0step.
